Welcome to the Worry Doll Shop.
A little bit about the Worry Doll Shop and how it began.
I have worked in the Disability-Aged sector for many years and I am passionate about supporting people to get the care and support they need and deserve and especially vulnerable people who may not be able to speak up for themselves., I have been fortunate to spend the last 7 years traveling and working, I have worked on 2 remote Islands and Uluru in a tiny Community supporting the traditional owners near the rock.
I purchased some Worry Dolls whilst on the road for my granddaughter and immediately fell in love with them and the concept of the legend.
The Guatemalan legend says,
Tell your worries to the Worry Dolls before you go to bed and put them under your pillow and in the morning the Worry Dolls will have taken your Worries Away.
So I decided I would open an online shop selling Worry Dolls as another way to support people with anxiety and worries. and to inspire some fun in worrying times and times of stress. We all need support at difficult times and nobody is immune to stress and worries and circumstances that arise.
I have done a lot of research for the Worry Dolls searching for the right products that are ethically sourced, and that would provide a fair income for the Artisan’s making the dolls. It’s so pleasing to know that the Artisan’s and families will be provided with a fair income for their hard work and are then given the opportunity to support and improve their lives and improve their lives of their families so support is given to both the family making the dolls and the people using the dolls.
I am committed to providing a high level of customer service so that you get the quality products you want. If you would like a specific color or have a query please contact me.
So if you have any queries or questions about anything, please phone or send a message and I will get back to you.
Some dolls and products may not be suitable for small children under 4 years of age.
The legend of the Worry Doll is intended as a guide if you think you are seriously affected by a problem or know someone you might think needs support and help you can ring
